Ausgangsformation: box circualte

Grundsätzliches: alle Tänzer bleiben innerhalb ihrer box circulate Formation. Dies gilt bei ‘split’ auch für ocean wave, column und innerhalb möglicher T-bone Formationen. Wiederhole ggf. Terminologie split <> box. Die Figur darf in Viertel geteilt und erweitert werden. Wenn keine Angabe erfolgt, ist ein Viertel zu tanzen, d.h. one quarter box (split) counter rotate. Die Figur ‘roll’ kann danach getanzt werden.

Jeder Tänzer geht innerhalb seiner Formation, unabhängig von den drei anderen Tänzern eine Position vorwärts (one quarter) und dreht / ‘rotiert’ dabei eine Vierteldrehung (90°) um den Mittelpunkt der Formation nach innen. Dabei gehen die infacers erst wie split circulate auf die vor ihnen liegende Position und drehen danch eine Vierteldrehung nach innen. Die outfacers drehen dagegen gleich eine Vierteldrehung nach innen, bevor sie auf die Position davor geradeaus vorgehen und nicht weiter drehen.

Split Counter Rotate: From any applicable formation [At Advanced, this call may be used from the following formations only: Any 2x4 formation, e.g., parallel waves, parallel columns.]: Each half of the square does a Box Counter Rotate.

Box Counter Rotate: From any 4-dancer formation with no dancers facing the flagpole center [At Advanced, this call is used only from box circulate, and certain T-bone formations.]: This call may have a fraction after it, such as Box Counter Rotate ¾. If no fraction is given, it means Box Counter Rotate ¼.

For each ¼ in the fraction: Each dancer moves his position in the formation forward around the center of the formation 90, by walking forward in a smooth arc to reach that spot. Each dancer works independently of the other 3 dancers in his formation.
