Ausgangsformation: parallel ocean waves, parallel two faced lines
Aus parallel ocean waves tanzen die Tänzer mit Blickrichtung nach außen = leading dancers ‘trade’ (trade the wave). Die trailing dancers, nach innen blickend, gehen aufeinander zu und gehen rechtsschultrig diagonal aneinander vorbei auf die andere Seite. Dabei werden ends zu centers und umgekehrt; infacers werden zu outfacers und umgekehrt.
Aus parallel two faced lines tanzen die leading dancers (couple) partner trade. Die trailing dancers gehen w.o. beschrieben rechtsschultrig diagonal aneinander vorbei auf die gegenüberliegende Seite.
