Hier hatte ich nach der alten Liste verfahren und die Figur couples circulate vorgezogen. Mittlerweile ist diese Figur seit 2009 bereits als Nr. 21 eingegliedert. Ich war also relativ fortschrittlich, wenn ich es auch nicht so extrem erwartet hätte. Es ist im Prinzip vollkommen egal, dass diese Figur erst jetzt hier beschrieben wird. Das Programm muss und wird ohnehin vervollständigt werden. Es könnte natürlich sein, dass sie die zeitlich angesetzeten Anforderungen bei student parties nicht erfüllen.

Auch veer left/right ist seit 2009 als Nr.19 umgruppiert worden. Wenn sie nach dem neuen Lehrplan bzw. neuer Liste lehren wollen, müssen sie selbst chorographieren!

Hier wird die 'Quadratur des Kreises' Wirklichkeit! Die u.a. Ausgangsformation parallel two faced lines steht quadratisch angeordnet und doch auch in einer Kreisformation! Denn wenn jedes Paar wie vorgeschrieben die Position des Paares vor ihm einnehmen soll, bewegen sich alle Paare gleichzeitig auf einem Kreisbogen!

Dabei müssen die zwei Paare, die nach innen schauen (infacers) nur vorwärts in die Position des Paares davor aufrücken, während die anderen zwei Paare, die nach außen schauen (outfacers) auf die andere Seite 'herumklappen' müssen, um exakt die Position des Paares neben sich einzunehmen, das, wie gesagt, sich gleichzeitig nach vorne bewegt.

Die Formationen der parallel two faced lines ändern sich danach nicht! Es werden wieder two faced lines.

Ausgangsformation: parallel two faced lines

Jedes Paar geht auf einem Kreisbogen, der mit den anderen Paaren gebildet wird, vorwärts um eine Position weiter. Jedes Paar nimmt danach die exakte Position und Blickrichtung des sich vor ihm befindenden Paares in der Kreisformation ein.

couples circulate stellt keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten für die Tänzer dar. Sie haben ja auch jemand an der Hand, der helfen kann, wenn man die Orientierung verliert.

Deshalb erweitern wir gleichzeitig die Figur run (right) mit der Variation, aus einer right hand ocean wave von außen nach innen zu wechseln. Das ergibt anschließend eine left hand two faced line Formation! Ein couples circulate aus dieser Formation wird in der Regel problemlos vom Tänzer angenommen.
